CAHSA offers 34 classes including western pleasure, reining,
gaited, and speed events. We have three age groups for
exhibitors under the age of 18 and offer the same events for
adults. There is also a lead-in western pleasure class for
children, and three pony classes for children under ten riding
ponies 52 inches and under. The show season ends with a
costume contest and fun classes such as ball race and egg
race.
The 2010 & 2011 shows were held at Woodlawn Arena, owned
by Mike and Dawn Verkler, on Hwy 31 North in Lonoke. A
special thank you goes out to the Verkler family for making this
possible. In years to come there may be a new permanent
home arena for CAHSA, but in the mean time the hospitality of
the Verklers is very much appreciated!
