CAHSA offers 38 classes including western pleasure, reining, gaited, and
speed events. We have three age groups for exhibitors under the age of 18
and offer the same events for adults. There is also a lead-in western
pleasure class for children, and three pony classes for children under ten
riding ponies 52 inches and under. The show season ends with a costume
contest and fun classes such as ball race and egg race.
The 2010 show season will be a year of transition, hopefully to a new
permanent home arena for CAHSA. This year's shows will be held
at the Woodlawn Arena on Hwy 31 North in Lonoke. The
first show is April 10th at 1:00 pm. Since many of you have
never been to the Woodlawn Arena at the Verkler home,
here is a map and directions.
